The liner is the inner sealing element that provides both the threaded engagement and the oxygen-barrier sealing surface against the bottle's rim. The mold is designed to produce liners from specific materials such as Saranex, PVC-free polyethylene foam, or tin/lead-free PVdC-coated compounds, depending on your wine or spirit bottling requirements. Each cavity produces a liner with precision-engineered sealing ridges (typically 2 to 4 concentric rings) that compress against the glass bottle rim to create a leak-proof seal capable of withstanding 5 bar internal pressure. The mold incorporates a hot runner system with closed-loop temperature control to prevent thermal degradation of sensitive liner materials. Cavity surfaces are diamond-turned to Ra 0.01ฮผm and coated with nickel-PTFE to ensure perfect liner release without sticking. An integrated pick-and-place system can be added for automated liner insertion into aluminum shells on your assembly line.
